We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz and Lyrical Dance, in our fully equipped dance sudio.

We are full members of The Associated Board of Dance and offer examinations throughout the year. All pupils are given the opportunity to take part in a stage performance once per year at a local theatre. The dance school is run by Miss Sadie Staten, who is a fully qualified teacher of Dance ABD. All of our staff hold current DBS checks, first aid certificate and relevant insurance.We offer classes for boys and girls from 0-16 years.

"Ballet is like dreaming on your feet"... We offer ballet as soon as your little one is up on their feet. Starting with our fairytale baby ballet class, a lovely class to inspire imaginations and work on the fine motor skills, whilst introducing your little ballerina to the basic ballet steps. As they progress through the classes we follow the Associated Board of Dance syllabus and examinations… Pre-preparatory level (at age 4), preparatory, primary, grades 1 -8 and pre-elementary.


"MAKE SOME NOISE"... Our tap classes sizzle with fun and energy.
Children love the rhythm and the musical beat. We begin classes at age 3 and teach both syllabus and choregraphed routines. And what is more fun that owning a pair of tap shoes? We follow the Associated Board of Dance syllabus and examinations… starting with pre-preparatory level at age 4.


Song and Dance Stars

In song and Dance stars we take the children on a musical journey learning some popular songs and musical theatre hits to create a routine including both singing and dancing. The class also includes some drama. The age range is age 4-10yrs.

Mixed Dance

Mixed dance is the liquorice all sorts of dance classes. Within this class we
teach some ABD modern syllabus, street jazz, lyrical dance and also limbering/stretching. This class is suitable for children aged 6-12 years.


Street Jazz

A lively and funky class to dance to your favourite pop songs!! The children learn
a new routine every couple of weeks and can work towards a performance for parents.

Disco Babies

Disco Babies is a  pre school dance class to bop with your tot! A great introduction to a dance classes in a relaxed atmosphere. This class follows the EYFS guidelines and gives parents quality time to enjoy dancing and moving to popular music!

Sadies' timeline

  • 1990

    Lets start at the very beginning

    Sadie began dancing at the Estelle Jayne Theatre dance school at age 4 and took part in many local dance festivals achieving a most promising pupil award in 1990. In 2001 Sadie won a scholarship to attend a full time dance course at the Midlands Academy of Dance and drama.

  • 2001

    Disneyland leading role

    Sadie studied both dance and musical theatre for 3 years completing her associate teaching examine with the I.D.T.A. Immediately after leaving dance college, Sadie was offered a leading role at Disneyland Paris where she was Snow White and danced in the parade and shows.

  • 2011

    Disco Babies is created

    In 2011 after having her first child Sadie set up
    Disco Babies - a pre school dance school, which now has franchises across the country.

  • 2013

    Sadie O'Boyle Dance School is launched

    In 2013 The Sadie O'Boyle School of Dance was born, based on the disco babies little dancers growing up and sharing Sadie’s passion for dance - she had to keep on teaching them!

  • 2018

    FAB was created!

    Following the success and growth of Sadie O’Boyle School of Dance, we moved to our very own premises with a fully kitted out dance studio.

Miss Sadie

Dance School Principal and Teacher

Miss Sadie is mummy to 3 lovely children Spencer, Hugo and Eden all of which enjoy coming along to the school for lessons. Miss Sadie is the dance school principal and teacher. She is fully qualified to teach Ballet, Tap, Modern and Street Jazz and to progress children through examinations with the Associated Board of Dance. Sadie has a wealth of experience in both performing and teaching.Theatre credits include- Leading role at Disneyland Paris, Lead Singer/dancer Viva Stars, Steps UK tour, Choir at Royal Albert Hall. TV Credits- National lottery live, Peak Practise.

Miss Helen

Admin & Social Media

Helen is in charge of our dance school administration and social medial. If you any queries regarding your accounts, fees or how we store your data you will find Helen at the studio on a Thursday or Friday, alternatively contact her by email on helen@fab-dancing.co.uk
Miss Helen also  has two daughters, the eldest has been dancing with Sadie since 2014. Before being a mummy, Helen used to be a teacher and Chair of her local preschool.


Miss Rachel


Miss Rachel runs our dance shop, FAB dancewear. She can help out with any uniform enquiries. Rachel also works in admin on a Saturday and is a mummy to 5 children. Her daughter has been dancing with the school for 3 years and now attends 8 classes per week due to her love of dancing!

Miss Sandra

Costume Manager

Miss Sandra (Miss Sadie's mum) is a huge part of the school. She is in charge of the beautiful costumes and supports the classes on a Saturday. She can usaully be found making the parents a lovely cup of tea!
